When Parking Monitor mode is turned on and the car detects that the engine is off, the recording will be done in Time-Lapse mode. This is to save memory space when the car is parked. Parking Monitor requires a connection to power when the car is off, and as a result, is required to have a 3-wire Hardwire Kit installation. This allows the mirror to be connected straight to the cars fuse box. The parking monitor settings will not come up until this is done.

If you have done this, please follow the instructions below to activate Parking Monitor:

1. Open the settings by selecting the gear icon
2. Press the parking monitor button
3. Change your preferences
4. Go back to the previous page to save your changes
