Modified on: Wed, 30 Jul, 2025 at 1:59 PM
Inserting a Micro-SD card:
- Make sure dash cam is turned off and the screen is facing you
- Insert the SD card into the slot on the right side with the text on the SD card away from you
- Push the SD card in gently until you hear a click
Notes on installation:
- It is advised that the Dash Camera is installed near the rear-view mirror, at the top centre of the windshield for optimal operation.
- Make sure that the lens is within working range of the windscreen wiper to ensure a clear view when it rains.
- Do not touch the lens with your fingers. Fingerprints left on the lens will result in unclear videos or photos. If photos or videos are blurred, please clean the lens gently with a microfibre cloth.
- Only use the included cable to power the Dash Camera.
- The NCP-DVR150 is designed to be constantly connected to the included power supply and is NOT designed to be used solely with the camera’s built-in battery.
Installing the Dash cam:
- Connect the window mount to the top of the Dash Camera and rotate the locking nut clockwise until it is tight.
- Please follow the instructions on page 6 before continuing.
- Remove the protective stickers from the Dash Camera and the 3M Mount.
- Press the mount base firmly against the windscreen and hold for 30 seconds.
- Insert the power cable adaptor into the Dash Camera power socket
- *Please note that for many features on the dash camera, you are required to connect the dash camera to power using the 3-wire hardwire kit to ensure constant power.
