Functionality:
- You can now view the location of the Smart Tag at any time you wish. It can be tracked no matter where it is, with some exceptions.
- Using the "Find My iPhone" app, you can make the Smart Tag play a noise if you wish to find it when in close proximity.
- You can use the app to create a route to it on the Apple Maps app.
- You can also use Siri commands to do these things, using the name of the Smart Tag that you inserted as the description, such as "Hey Siri, find my keys" which will make the device emit a sound.
Battery replacement:
- Loosen the screws
- Open the back of the Smart Tag
- Replace the battery
- Put back cover back in place
- Tighten screws
The Smart Tag also has a lanyard hole. This can be used if the Smart Tag will be hung from an object rather than sit inside it.
