NanoConnect NC-722DVR - Installation

Inserting Micro SD Card:

Please insert the memory card into the Micro SD Card slot with the chip contact surface facing up. Insert it until you hear a click sound. Please ensure that the SD card is at least a class 10 with a minimum capacity of 32GB a maximum capacity of 256GB. it is preferred that the SD card is from brands such as ScanDisk, Kingston, Toshiba and Samsung. 


Mounting the Monitor:

There are two mounting options available for installation: 

  • Windscreen Suction Mount:
    1. Insert the windscreen suction mount lock at the back of the SmartView 72.
    2. Clean the windscreen area where the suction mount is to be mounted.
    3. Unlock the mount.
    4. Press the suction mount on the windscreen and lock it
  •  3M Adhesive mount:
    1. Insert the 3M adhesive mount lock at the back of the SmartView 72.
    2. Clean the area on the dashboard where the mount is to be placed.
    3. Remove the 3M tape at the bottom of the mount.
    4. Place the mount on the cleaned surface and press it firmly for two minutes 


Please take into account when mounting:

  • Make sure the camera lens is within the range of the windscreen wiper so that there is a clear line of view when it rains.
  • Do not touch the camera lens. Fingerprints on the lens will result in unclear videos or photos. If your photos or videos are blurred, this may be rectified by cleaning the lens gently with a microfibre cloth.
  • Please use only the included charging cable to power the Smart Monitor. Other cables may not work or may damage the product


Rear Camera Installation:

  1. Select a flat and centred location near the licence plate lamp at the rear of the vehicle to mount the rear camera.
  2. Attach some tape to the camera bracket to hold it in position and then drill two small holes. One hole is for the first screw and the other hole is to enable the rear camera cable to thread through.
  3.  Fasten the first screw slightly to allow for some adjustment of rear camera.
  4. Insert the rear camera cable through the second hole and check the installation position. 
  5. Mark the position suitable for the second screw and drill a small hole for it 
  6. Fasten the second screw and securely tighten both screws. 

Rear Camera Wiring:

If you do not have any experience, it is highly recommended that you refer to a trained professional to complete this. 

The connection to the reverse light wire ensures that this camera automatically turns on every time the car goes into reverse.
